  Peter Parker goes to space and officially becomes an Avenger. This is also where he meets Doctor Strange, who will be an important character in No Way Home.

  Admittedly, Spider-Man isn't much of this movie. But you'll probably want to watch it after that cliffhanger ending in Infinity War.

  As Peter Parker considers whether or not he wants to be Spider-Man, the stakes get risen. You'll definitely want to watch at least this movie before watching No Way Home because the end credits scene sets up No Way Home.

  Admittedly, this movie goes off the rails a bit, but Sandman is said to make an appearance in No Way Home. We also get a first look at Venom.

• The Amazing Spider-man

  Another reboot. It's unclear whether the villain in this one (Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard) will make an appearance in No Way Home. But no one has ruled out that Andrew Garfield, yet!

• The Amazing Spider-man 2

  Add The Amazing Spider-man 2 to your for later shelf

  This installment gives us Electro's origin story, who will definitely be making an appearance in No Way Home. Be warned: the classic Gwen Stacy story from the comics is also included in this one.

  Into the Spider-Verse

  Add Spider-Man to your for later shelf

  Not required watching for No Way Home, since it has no impact on the movie. But this is a great introduction to the Marvel multiverse, if needed!
