Join us for a two-week Moth-style storytelling workshop where you can craft, refine, and rehearse personal stories around the theme "The Moment I Knew." To prepare, think of that moment when clarity hits -- about yourself, someone else, or the world around you ... a story of reckoning, realization, and radical honesty ... perhaps an "ah-ha moment."
In week one of the workshop, we will be exploring the elements of what makes a good story: a clear beginning and end, featuring stakes, vulnerability, and a sense of transformation or change. These workshops are in preparation for a possible live performance at the Arts & Music Festival on Saturday, February 21, although the most important outcome is the sense of community we get from telling our stories.
If you can't attend both weeks, no worries. Please register for the workshop you're able to attend.
Please note: This event is for Teens only. The Adult version is held at the Main Library on February 4th and 11th.
