Description

Act Out! Readers’ Theatre

For ages 8-10

Readers’ theatre is a low-pressure way to explore performing. With scripts in hand, performers read expressively to convey the story without the need for memorization, staging, costumes, etc. Each week we'll play theatre games to learn some of the important basics of acting and rehearse for our final performance as part of HDL’s LEVITATE arts festival on Saturday, February 21!

Please note that it is best that your child(ren) attend every week as we will be building on skills learned earlier. Also, while no memorization is required, to avoid frustration and to feel successful, participants should be reading fairly independently.

Tuesdays January 13 – February 17 from 3:30-5:00

PLUS watch them perform on Saturday, February 21 at Levitate Festival.
