Description

This program is for patrons aged 6 to 12. All children must have an adult present.

Discover the fascinating world of printmaking with our Maker-in-Residence, Alynn Guerra!

This hands-on workshop is designed for curious minds interested in the art of printmaking. You'll get an introduction to printmaking techniques and learn how to transfer your design to a printing block. We'll finish by inking and printing your block. 

All materials will be provided. Attendees may bring an image reference and wear comfortable clothes (we may get messy).

About Maker-in-Residence Alynn Guerra:

Alynn is a printmaker and illustrator whose whose work uses bold black and white images with accents of color, and is inspired by by nature-human relationships, the environment and her Latin-American background.

Guerra is a member of the Tanglefoot artists studios community in Grand Rapids and the owner of Red Hydrant Press printmaking studio (www.redhydrantpress.com). You can also find her work on Instagram, @redhydrantpress.
