The Herrick District Library is extremely excited to welcome beloved local author Wade Rouse for a special author event!

Under the pen name Viola Shipman (chosen in honor of his grandmother), Mr. Rouse has written over a dozen novels, many of which take place in Michigan. Readers have fallen in love with his warm and heartfelt style from his first, The Charm Bracelet, to his newest, The Page Turner, which released earlier this month. 

Mr. Rouse is also the author of several acclaimed memoirs under his own name, most recently Magic Season.
