About Elizabeth Trembley, Ph.D.:
Elizabeth is the author of the graphic memoir Look Again (Street Noise, 2022), which was named one of the Best Graphic Novels for Adults by the American Library Association (2023) and shortlisted for the Graphic Medicine International Collective Award. She is also a Lambda Literary Award-winning mystery novelist (Whacked, pen name Josie Gordon), and storytelling teacher of more than three decades. She trained in literature, writing, and innovation and creativity in places as diverse as the University of Chicago, Disney University, the Center for Cartoon Studies, and the Sequential Artist’s Workshop. At the Sequential Artists Workshop, she co-led the Graphic Memoir + Medicine working group for five years and teaches online classes on graphic memoir, story structure, and time/project management.
