Events › Holland Story Project: Homegoing

This fall, Herrick District Library will be collecting stories about what makes a home a home. The Holland Story Project is an oral history project that provides an opportunity for the people of the greater Holland area to share and preserve their unique stories, experiences, and histories. Storytelling encourages us to listen to and learn from each other and helps us form meaningful connections to the people in our community and the world around us. 

This initiative runs parallel to the NEA Big Read Lakeshore's 2023 book selection, Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.
